Access Weight Indicators

Create Weight Indicators

The weight indicator is the part of the scale that reads the weights also know as the scale head. Create a Weight Indicator by accessing the Setup menu and choose Access Weight Indicators and click .

Create an ID for the Weight Indicator of up to 20 alpha-numeric characters. This is a required field.

Add the associated Site ID or use F12 to search. This is a required field

Enter a Weight Indicator Name of up to 50 alpha-numeric characters. This is a required field.

Use the drop down list available and select the Manufacturer.

Select a Model, if available, from the drop down list.

Use the drop down list to indicate the Connection Type is Serial or TCP/IP.

Click into the Serial Port field and enter the Port number.

Use the drop down list and select a Baud Rate.

The Parity drop down list allows selection of

• None
• Odd
• Even
• Mark
• Space

Indicate the Data Bits of 5,6,7, or 8.

Provide the Stop Bits of None, One, Two or One point five.

If the Connection Type is set on TCP/IP, enter information in the fields below.

• IP Address
• TCP Port

Status defaults to Active and can be set to Inactive or Delete.

Logging can be set to Connections or Readings.
